Always a great experience at George Roberts restaurant. Have been here several times now. They have a great wine and cocktail selection, and food that is well prepared and reasonably priced. The service is always attentive and considerate. Top notch all the way around, I highly recommend George Roberts!

Ok. I normally don't do reviews.... Ever. But if you haven't been to George Roberts Wine & Raw Bar ... RUN THERE IMMEDIATELY. This is my 4th time going and I'm about to rant and rave so prepare yourself. They not only have an awesome deal for oysters during happy hour (despite being out of season) but their menu is both unique and the dishes well balanced and borderline inspiring. Between the vodka or tequila based oyster shooters (did I mention they use bacon infused booze!?), the dollar oysters during happy hour, my boyfriend's crab dip with warm pita chips, and the AMAZING ahi tuna poke bowl, I am beside myself. Yes, the oysters are smaller because they are out of season but still an amazing deal. But this salad??? (Here comes the raving...) Between the MOUNTAIN of fresh sushi grade tuna (there's more under what's pictured), the crisp pineapple, and vinegary bite of some kimchi cucumbers among other toppings over a bed of fresh peppery arugula that's tossed in a wasabi ginger vinaigrette (not spicy), it was SO satisfying. I dare even say the best salad I ever had. PERIOD. Price wise everything is on point with regards to portion and quality. Total without tip came to around 100 dollars. Our waiter John was super attentive to our table and at the ready with drink refills and very personable. 11/10 easily. Again, if you haven't gone there .... Go. Now.

Bit crowded parking arrangement but the food’s been good before and still is! The pizza in my picture (PROSCIUTTO DATTERI) they don’t have on their menu anymore, but the chef still made it which was very nice of him.

Got there at 4:30 but it filled up by 5. Bar was full. Absolutely great fresh food. 2 specials ordered - crab nachos & tilefish crude. Fresh and flavorful but light. Ordered the prosciutto pizza as entree..delicious with a sweet base, arugula and balsamic drizzle. Prices very reasonable based on living in Charleston recently. The hot peachy margarita was spicy& different. Fresh juices. Great service by Taylor. Very attentive. Highly recommend.

Stopped in on a Tuesday evening, great experience. Wasn’t crowded, however very upbeat atmosphere and several patrons enjoying both the bar and restaurant. Great set up, service and food. Four of us had a great time and very good dinner. Only took a couple of drinks pics, however the presentation was just as good as the food and our server was super nice and very attentive!

"Carly" (hopefully spelled her name correctly) was soooo sweet and got EVERYTHING we requested. She was attentive, kind, and communicated through our visit. Maybe management/ possible Owner came and spoke to us too. I liked that the Management, Server Assistants, and all staff were equally as hands on. You don't see that everywhere and I appreciated the work ethic and positive attitudes. The food was BOMB, like nothing was "just okay". So good, we didn't have a chance to take pictures lol. The presentations were beautiful also. House Oysters were large and tasty and priced well! The Sweet Sriracha Oysters were something new we hadn't seen before anywhere and were the collective fave. (We had to order a second one) Shrimp Cocktail, Scallops, Crabcake, Crab Dip, Salmon, and Pizzas were great as well. I don't live on this side of town, buuut I'll be back soon! Also Hostesses were on point too! We called ahead to place a to go order, BUT raw seafood is a no go so after ensuring they were family friendly, which was a yes, we went in! Thanks everybody!!!

My husband and I have been wanting to check out this much talked about new spot. We went for our date night and it did not disappoint. The selection of wines were limited but excellent, I had a NZ Savignon Blanc and my husband a Pinto Noir. We had 1/2 dz raw oysters and the oysters Rockefeller as an appetizer and they were mouth watering good. Lots of other customers had the house oysters steamed instead of raw and they looked gorgeous too. We shared the special, seared scallops on a mushroom risotto, and oh my it was decadent. This is a wonderful place for excellent food, comfortable cozy upscale vibes, and a tentative staff and chefs that pay attention to the details. A bit pricey, but well worth it. Shout out to David our server, he made the experience top notch! Update: went back for a special dinner with my husband and Angie was amazing! She made sure our night was fantastic, David was our server and again he was fantastic! The manager also came around and was very personable and kind. Almost a year they have been open and the place is always packed. Sitting out at the fire pit makes for a relaxing wait and a beautiful spot to take in the evening.

The atmosphere at George Roberts was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious, the wine was fantastic, and our waitress Christina was so friendly and attentive. Chef Miles even came out personally to make sure everything was perfect. Truly a wonderful dining experience!
